Germán is often invited to share his vision of advancing a sustainable development agenda at the crossroads between Public Private Partnerships, Innovation, Energy, and Technology, with a special focus on high-impact ventures.
Germán is involved in multiple civil society institutions covering issues such as Energy, Public-Private Partnerships, Regional Integration, Migration, Energy Transition, Sustainable Finance, and women empowerment, among others.
A member of the InterAmerican Dialogue’s President Leadership Council, the Americas Society- Council of the Americas, the Energy Steering Committee at the Institute of the Americas, a member of the advisory board at the CHLI – Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute, member of the Board of Advisors of the Adam Smith Institute for Economic Freedom at Florida International University and a Past member of the Concordia Forum. German is involved in nonprofit organizations focusing on education, health, and social justice. A Singularity University alumni, Universitat de Barcelona and Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) German, cherishes the opportunity to mentor promising students from Kellogg Northwestern University, Columbia Business School, and Universita Bocconi. A former competitive skipper and avid tennis player, Germán finds himself at his best in the water or chasing a ball.
