Mónica Acquaviva, a natural-born Ecuadorian, is the CEO of NutraImmune, where she oversees the strategic direction, operational management, and overall corporate governance. As CEO, Acquaviva is responsible for ensuring the company’s sustainable growth, maintaining investor relations, and leading the executive team to achieve long-term business objectives. Her role encompasses decision-making at the highest level, focusing on driving profitability, enhancing value, reaching various global markets, and creating and executing an ethical corporate mission and vision.

Prior to assuming the role of CEO, Acquaviva served as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for NutraImmune, where she was in charge of the integrated marketing strategy, corporate social responsibility efforts, and product brand management. Reporting directly to the CEO in that role, her primary responsibility was to generate revenue by increasing sales through the execution of successful marketing strategies.

Before devoting her work full-time to NutraImmune, Acquaviva served nine years as the Global Director of Communications, Public Relations, and Media for Mission for the Love of God Worldwide, where she launched the mission in nine countries and established strategic alliances between traditional and digital media platforms. Fluency in English and Spanish, as well as a moderate proficiency in French, aided Acquaviva in creating vital relationships with people worldwide. Acquaviva also participated in the development of the primary digital marketing strategy for the launch of BENEDEO, the largest Catholic digital platform, serving as the principal advisor for this project. Prior to that, Acquaviva worked as a consultant for the IRSE (Ecuadorian Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility), training and advising companies on integrating corporate social responsibility strategies into their corporate goals.

Acquaviva has always been eager to keep learning. She holds a Multinational Executive MBA from Adolfo Ibañez School of Management and a Masters in Digital Marketing from Rutgers University, as well as other key business and marketing certifications. She specialized in crisis management and international communications at Columbia University. At George Washington University, she earned a certification in strategic communications in the digital age. At Harvard Business School, she completed the “Taking Marketing Digital” executive program, and at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, she excelled in their select top management executive program. Finally, she also holds a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility, with expertise in GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization), from CapacitaRSE, Buenos Aires.
