Mateo Guillamont

Mateo is an upperclassman studying Political Science and Philosophy with a concentration in Computer Science. Originally from Valencia, Spain, Mateo is one of ten siblings and has interests in law, politics, and economics. Mateo’s enthrallment with ideas and initiatives sprouting human flourishment has led him to intern with Insurtech start-ups, produce scholarly legal research, work for current and past legislators, perform journalistic work, and engage with on-campus student organizations. Mateo’s writings have been commended by major media figures and have appeared in international newspapers, such as the Wall Street Journal. In his free time, Mateo enjoys watersports, exercise, and reading philosophic texts.
